About Me!

Before we dive in, I should share one of my favorite hobbies: reading. If it were up to me, I’d spend whole days tucked in with a good book, cozy blanket, and a bag of Cheetos (not the best choice while flipping pages, but irresistible nonetheless). Ever since I was little, books have been my way of time-traveling— stepping into shoes I might never wear but deeply understanding lives and worlds beyond my own.

Beyond reading, I’m a senior at the International School of Beaverton, completing the IB Diploma program. Outside of class, you’ll usually find me hanging out with friends or family, exploring local food spots (my record is three foodie outings in three days, and I have no regrets), writing poetry, playing tennis, or watching TV with the type of commitment that’s reserved for full-time jobs.

A small fun fact: I named my younger brother. At five years old, I managed to convince my parents to let me name him Arnav, which means “ocean.” That moment foreshadowed something bigger: my lifelong fascination with nature. It started early—chasing peacocks through my grandfather’s wheat fields in India—and has only grown since. Whether it’s birds, dogs, turtles, or the frogs that croak relentlessly near my house, I’ve always felt drawn to animals. Eventually, I persuaded my family to let me bring home a green-cheeked conure named Barry, who’s basically a feathered toddler with a heart of gold.

Now that you know a little about me, let’s dive into some of my adventures.
