My Life In Bites

Food isn’t just a hobby for me. It’s practically a lifestyle.

Imagine binge-watching The Great British Baking Show in anticipation of the next season coming… and then binge-watching that season the moment it drops. That’s me. But let’s be honest: no foodie is content just watching from the sidelines. I take my food adventures seriously, and I make sure my friends do too.

In fact, all of my closest friends are foodies. It’s not on purpose (I think), but I seem to have a built-in food radar. If someone’s passionate about dumplings, pasta, or tacos, I’m probably already planning a foodie expedition with them.

And yes, expedition is the right word. We plan at least a week in advance, map out three or more spots, and commit to trying as many dishes as our stomachs (and wallets) can handle. There’s a strict rule: no one touches the food until I’ve captured pictures from multiple angles. Yes, food has good sides too.

But for me, food isn’t just about taste. It’s about connection. It’s how I bond with people and explore cultures beyond my own. I’m fascinated by how different communities experience food, from family traditions to cooking techniques. Food is a universal language, and I love learning to speak it fluently.
